RIGHT WINTERISATION = EASY RESTART

Thanks to active winterising, your pool remains in perfect condition, even during the cold season. The filtration system continues to operate, but with reduced running times. This method is particularly suitable for regions with mild winters and greatly simplifies the process of getting your pool back up and running in spring.

SAVINGS AT THE END OF WINTER AND LOWER START-UP COSTS IN SUMMER

The golden rules for successfully winterising your swimming pool:

Winterize the pool when the water temperature is below 15 °C.
Do not empty the pool to protect the construction and ensure the watertightness.
Take care of your water with the right products.
Use a cover to avoid contaminants inside the pool (dust, leaves, insects, etc...). These covers also function as safety elements.
Run the filter system for a few hours each day.

7 STEPS TO WINTERIZE THE POOL

CLEAN THE POOL, waterline, brush walls and vacuum the bottom.
After 12 hours of filtration, thoroughly clean the filter (BACKWASH).
Check and ADJUST pH between 7,0 and 7,4.
Carry out a SHOCK TREATMENT with 1 kg / 50 m3 of CHLORINE GRANULES.
Add 1 L / 100 m³ of ANTISCALE NO-PHOS or CALCINEX 2 L / 100 m³ directly into the pool water to prevent limescale build-up.
Add 1 L / 25 m³ of IVERNET or 0.5 L / 25 m³ of IVERLINER and filter the pool water for 8 hours.
Leave the filtration system running for 2 HOURS / DAY and add a CHLORINE TABLET in each skimmer.

If you want to TURN OFF THE FILTRATION, we recommend using IVERFILTER. This product prevents the filter sand from compacting and becoming infected.
